Thesis Project

Sustainability, ecology, climate action, equity, conservation, human rights... these are topics people are sick of talking about, and ready to help do something to get us to a better place. 

 

But... How do you do something about doing it?

I believe the key is in both learning and sharing.

Even though knowing about something does not automatically translate to action, education is a tool that gives people agency, and can encourage innovation. Collaboration leads to unexpected solutions, and reminds us that we are not alone.

 

This thesis project proposes a digital space (tentatively an intersection between a library and internet message board as examples of alternative, anarchical spaces to acquire knowledge and collaborate in a non-traditional setting) so as to better access and promote sustainable practices for a widespread audience.

For the next year I'll be researching and designing this project, and trying to prove the above statements as true.
